I'm very interactive, as I prefer to teach in a form of semi-informal chat. I adapt to my student's age, interests, struggles and learning preferences, so I'm very flexible. As I believe that real-world examples work better for children and teenagers to grasp the knowledge in the various subjects that they are taught at school, I will encourage them to analyse and put into practice all the concepts and theories that they need in order to become better prepared for their exams and their future education. That's what I believe is the way to teach the subjects that comprise social sciences, as simple memorising has been proven not to be an efficient way to actually learn a topic.
Also, if the teenager plans to study something related to any social or political science, I can prepare them for what's to come during their studies, giving them valuable advice on how to distribute their studying time, and what to read and HOW to read it.
During my bachelor's studies I would constantly be recognised not only as the best student of my year, but also as the best student of the entire major. Not only have I had experience into the politics of student academia, leading the student society for my major, but also I've won prizes and recognitions at Model United Nations. During my studies I worked as a research assistant on a project on humanitarian aid. I also provided orientation to students and friends who struggled at some of the courses.
Not only am I the current Student Ambassador of my year in my Master's programme, but also during my Bachelor's I led the student society of my major. I also got the highest score in the national graduation exam of professionals in my university, getting "Outstanding" in all the areas of the exam. I received a prize for this, and no one else in my year got this distinction. For my excellent grades and my social and political involvement during my studies, I have also been granted several scholarships, such as the one to work as a research assistant in a Canadian university, or the one that allowed me to study as an exchange student in the best IR and Political Science university in Europe, Sciences Po Paris. I have been awarded several scholarships from the Mexican government, from the Dutch government, and from Utrecht University, which have allowed me to study both in Mexico and the Netherlands with my own resources, without depending on loans.
